How to Prevent Breast Cancer in Men

Because the cause of breast cancer in men is not fully known, there is no definite way to prevent it.


However, there are several ways you can do to reduce the risk of breast cancer in men.


1.  Maintain an Ideal Weight

Weight gain is one of the risk factors for breast cancer, especially for people who are overweight or obese .


2.  Avoid or Limit the Amount of Alcohol Intake.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Therefore, you should limit or even avoid alcohol.


3.  Exercise routine

The next way to prevent breast cancer in men is to exercise regularly. Exercising regularly has been shown to reduce the risk of breast cancer.


The American Cancer Society recommends at least moderate-intensity exercise for 150-300 minutes a week or 75-150 minutes per week for high intensity.


4.  Perform Screening Regularly

If you already have some of the risk factors as mentioned above, you should have regular screening every year or as recommended by your doctor.


With routine screening , it is hoped that breast cancer in men can be detected early.
